Recently, a train carrying 37 containers slowly pulled out of the Jiangjin-Luohuang Railway Integrated logistics Hub (South Asia Railway Logistics Center), marking the official launch of the China-Laos Railway (Jiangjin-Vientiane) international freight train。The train is equipped with chemicals, construction materials, general machinery, daily necessities and other goods, worth about 4 million yuan, leaving the country through Mohan port in Yunnan province to Vientiane, Laos。
In the past, products from Gangjin to Southeast Asian countries such as Laos and Vietnam could only be transported by road or river-sea combined transport, and the whole process took more than 10 days。With the opening of the Jiangjin-Vientiane international freight train, the transportation time has been reduced to about five days。
